Philip Shannon is an experienced Chartered Accountant (ACA), Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) with extensive experience in taxation, accounting, and audit. Since joining Lewis & Co. in July 2019, he has been instrumental in managing the firm’s tax compliance administration, offering expert advice on income tax, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), estate and tax planning, and gift tax.

Originating from Sligo, Philip has dedicated many years to both practice and industry roles in Dublin. His audit experience spans the financial sector including credit unions, non-profit organisations, and trading companies, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of different financial landscapes.

Philip is proficient with Excel and his innovative data analysis techniques enable him to uncover new insights for clients. Beyond his technical skills, Philip is a natural mentor, guiding staff and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the firm.

In addition to his core responsibilities, Philip is actively involved in expanding the firm’s financial services arm including life assurance, pensions and financial planning.
